Why American Innovation Matters
There is an increasing sentiment in both government and industry that our nation’s economic competitiveness is predicated on our ability to innovate. Our nation is the world’s best at creating world class science and engineering, and bringing it to market. And it is urgent that our nation maintains this advantage, and indeed to make it even greater. Conditions in today’s angel and venture capital markets, though, are less favorable to early to mid-stage technology supported companies than is ideal. It is Kenotomeo’s objective to work with such companies to improve their chances of delivering a commercial and economic impact.
Kenotomeo is the result of a significant collaboration between two prominent organizations in our nation’s entrepreneurial activities: the Kauffman Foundation for Entrepreneurship, and the MIT Enterprise Forum
"America’s economic strength and global leadership depend in large measure on our Nation’s ability to generate and harness the latest in scientific and technological developments and to apply these developments to real world application."
